Challenge
Flexibility, speed and strong industry knowledge all under one roof proved to be a successful recipe in servicing our renewable storage client.
During Q3-Q4 of 2022 Proactive created a complete supply chain solution for its client which had thousands of containers bound for the US, specifically LA/Long Beach port during peak season.
Customized Solution
These containers had both Haz Mat cargo and Out of Gauge cargo which needed a multifaceted solution which touched on multipole Proactive skill sets. Transloading, Flatbed & Dry Van Capacity, Heavy Lift and both Warehousing indoor and Outdoor solutions all while being managed on our customized WMS.
With three locations in Long Beach Proactive was able to handle the surge of cargo through its own company warehouses. The next challenge was launch multiple new warehouses in various states all within 4 months to accommodate the storage needs. In total Proactive successfully opened 9 haz mat approved temp controlled warehouses.
The team provided both long term warehousing solutions and Short Term , deployed QA/QC field operatives, managed thousands of container drays, Linehauls and provided a turn key one stop solution to give its client full visibility of inventory.
